What is SFMA in chiropractic?
We often use SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment ) during our initial evaluation to find the underlying problem (s). In addition to making specific manual or instrument-assisted chiropractic adjustments to the spine and/or extremities, when necessary, we also utilize soft tissue work (Active Release Techniques - ART), Kinesiology Taping, Laser Therapy, ergonomic training, posture awareness, and relaxing intersegmental traction table therapies.
What are the conditions that the body responds to after chiropractic treatment?
I have found myself working with patients with a wide variety of conditions such as headaches, carpal tunnel, migraines, muscle tension, shoulder, hip, knee or ankle injuries/pains and of course low back, midback and neck pain. I do treat the entire body from a postural and nervous system point of view. I specialize in spine rehabilitation and correction. Post-motor vehicle rehab or chronic sports injuries respond very well to my treatments.

As a professor of human nutrition and physiology, I believe in collaboration with acupuncturists and medical specialists to provide the entire range of available treatment options to my patients. In my opinion a combination of alternative and western medical ideas in conjunction with nutritional therapies may provide the best solutions to most human ailments.
