Diabetic Education
Understanding how to manage your diabetes can be difficult. Fortunately, diabetic education at Lakes Regional Healthcare gives you the tools you need to succeed. You may qualify for up to 10 hours of diabetic education after your initial diagnosis and two hours of education each subsequent year after.
Nutrition Counseling

Care Coordination
Our primary care providers are excellent resources for your overall healthcare. They are located on our campus and work with most of our departments and staff on a daily basis as well as have strong working relationships with healthcare professionals at Avera in Sioux Falls.
Foot Care
Unfortunately, foot problems and diabetes often go together because diabetes damages the nerves and decreases the blood flow to the feet. Our podiatrists can provide foot checks and clip toenails to help your feet remain healthy and free of infection.
