Below is a list of the imaging CPT codes that require precertification for Commercial and Oxford Medicare Advantage Members. Precertification is required for CT scans, MRIs, MRAs, PET scans, nuclear medicine studies and endoscopic/obstetrical ultrasounds (see detail below). Please note that other procedures may be added as necessary.
