What is PCMH in family medicine?
Available at all family medicine clinics, our Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program is a holistic approach to health care that seeks to actively involve patients and families in their health. Our primary care providers, health coaches and nutritionists team with adult patients to manage the treatment of acute and chronic illness through preventative services and enhanced communication. The program aims to reduce hospital admissions and emergency department visits while improving the health of patients.
Do family physicians need board certification?
We hold all of our physicians to the highest quality standards and require board certification for all new family medicine physicians. Our providers use the most advanced techniques for preventive care as well as evaluating and treating acute and chronic illnesses.

As of July 25, 2021, and because of the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases throughout Arkansas, Methodist Family Health and our programs are temporarily suspending all therapeutic leaves of absence as well as scheduled visitations as outlined in our updated policy.
